Jordan Luplow Named Eastern League Player of the Week

The Eastern League has announced that Altoona Curve outfielder Jordan Luplow has been named their Player Week from this past week (May 29th-June 4th).

Luplow was a third round selection of the Pirates in the 2014 MLB Draft. Last week, he posted a .577 on base percentage, and went on a power surge, hitting five home runs.

Recently, I did a post on how the Pirates already have more breakout prospects this year compared to last season, but for some reason, I did not mention Luplow. He is having a strong 2017 for the Curve, as his 13 home runs and .964 OPS are each third best in the EL.
