Nick Kingham will be making his season debut tonight for the Bradenton Marauders, Pirates Prospects has reported.
Kingham entered 2015 as the Pirates third best pitching prospect, and was expected to be called up to Pittsburgh that year, but elbow discomfort led to Tommy John surgery. He fully recovered from the injury last year, making ten rehab starts for the GCL Pirates, Bradenton and Altoona, posting a combined 2.93 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP. Kingham sustained an ankle injury in Spring Training, and had to build himself up in Extended Spring. He will eventually join the Indianapolis Indians rotation.
