The Indianapolis Indians have announced that Frank Duncan has been selected to the International League All-Star Game.
Duncan was drafted by the Pirates in 2014 as a 13th round selection out of the University of Kansas. The 24-year-old righty began this season pitching for the Altoona Curve where he posted a 2.36 ERA along with a 1.13 WHIP and a batting average against of .228 in seven games, which included a pair of starts.
On May 10th, Duncan was promoted to Indianapolis, and has continued to pitch well. In 11 starts with the Indians, he’s posting an ERA of 2.49 with a 1.08 WHIP and holding opponents to a .247 average.
