Multiple people on Facebook and Twitter are congratulating Adam Frazier on his call up to the big leagues.
Frazier was a sixth round pick of the Pirates in the 2013 MLB Draft out of Mississippi State. He’s currently the Bucs 27th ranked prospect according to MLB Pipeline. Frazier is one of the best contact hitters in the system, as he batted .324 last season for the Altoona Curve, which led the Eastern League. The great hitting has been on display again this year in his first season with the Indianapolis Indians, putting up an International League best .333 average. Frazier also posted an OPS of .827, good for seventh best in the league.
