Pirates Minor League Report 6/13

AAA: Indianapolis had a scheduled day off.


AA: Altoona also had the day off. 


High A: Clearwater defeated Bradenton 3-1.

Stephen Tarpley allowed just one run in six innings, didn’t walk a batter and struckout six. (81 pitches; 57 strikes) (4.36 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 8.2 K/9) 

Taylor Gushue had the only Marauders run with an RBI single. (.250 avg, .711 OPS) 

Elvis Escobar went 1-for-3 with a double. (.246 avg, .633 OPS) 

Kevin Kramer also was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. (.289 avg, .745 OPS)

Jordan Luplow goes 1-for-2 with a double. (.234 avg, .722 OPS) 


Low A: West Virginia defeated Lexington 5-3. 

Tanner Anderson made a spot start for the Power going six shutout innings, no walks and five strikeouts. (62 pitches; 48 strikes) (1.88 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, 6.3 K/9) 

Mitchell Tolman collected three with two RBI’s and a walk. (.279 avg, .745 OPS) 

Tito Polo goes 2-for-4 with a two-run double, a free pass, a stolen base and scored a run. (.314 avg, .950 OPS) 

Tyler Filliben was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and scored twice. (.211 avg, .609 OPS) 

Christian Kelly also went 2-for-4 with a double and came around to score. (.231 avg, .616 OPS)
