Pirates Minor League Report 6/8

AAA: Columbus defeated Indianapolis 3-2 in 10 innings. 

Justin Masterson made his first start for the Indians going six innings, allowing two runs, walking one and striking out five. (83 pitches; 56 strikes) 

Josh Bell hit his seventh home run of the season. (.297 avg, .860 OPS) 

Adam Frazier was 2-for-4 with an RBI triple. (.327 avg, .806 OPS) 

Gift Ngoepe went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored. (.217 avg, .584 OPS) 


AA: Erie defeated Altoona 7-1. 

Brandon Waddell gives up four runs in 4.2 innings, walked three and struckout a pair. (93 pitches; 50 strikes) (3.36 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 7.0 K/9)

Austin Meadows had three hits including his third homer of the year. (.302 avg, .912 OPS) 

Edwin Espinal and Anderson Feliz also collected three hits. (Espinal: .318 avg, .757 OPS) (Feliz: .271 avg, .708 OPS) 


High A: Bradenton/Tampa was suspended in the fourth inning due to rain. 


Low A: West Virginia defeated Delmarva 7-2.

Logan Sendelbach pitched six innings, as he allowed two runs, issued three walks and had seven strikeouts. (88 pitches; 55 strikes) (3.66 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 6.5 K/9) 

Logan Ratledge had a two-run single and came around to score. (.224 avg, .551 OPS) 

Mitchell Tolman was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and scored a run. (.266 avg, .720 OPS) 

Tito Polo goes 2-for-3 with a triple, a walk and a run scored. (.308 avg, .934 OPS) 

Ryan Nagle went 1-for-3 an RBI double and a free pass. (.254 avg, .658 OPS)
