Pirates Minor League Report 6/7

AAA: Columbus defeated Indianapolis 9-6. 

Trevor Williams gave up five runs (four earned) in 4.1 innings, walked six and had no strikeouts. (96 pitches; 51 strikes) (6.32 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, 3.6 K/9) 

Josh Bell hit a three-run homer, his sixth of the season. (.296 avg, .845 OPS) 

Max Moroff went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI’s. (.234 avg, .719 OPS) 

Alen Hanson and Pedro Florimon were both 2-for-4 and scored a pair of runs. (Hanson: .257 avg, .667 OPS) (Florimon: .260 avg, .652 OPS) 


AA: Altoona defeated Erie 5-1. 

Cody Dickson pitches seven innings, allowing only one run, issuing three walks and striking out two. (83 pitches; 50 strikes) (3.63 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, 5.1 K/9)

Edwin Espinal had three hits and drove in a run. (.305 avg, .735 OPS) 

Erich Weiss was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. (.283 avg, .794 OPS) 

Eric Wood went 2-for-4 with two doubles and had an RBI. (.245 avg, .755 OPS) 

Jose Osuna goes 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk. (.247 avg, .728 OPS) 


High A: Bradenton had a scheduled day off.


Low A: Delmarva defeated West Virginia 8-4 in 16 innings. 

Jonathan Brubaker allowed just one run in six innings of work, walked one and struckout nine. (78 pitches; 54 strikes) (3.48 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 11.2 K/9) 

Tito Polo collected three hits, which included his tenth home run of the year. (.302 avg, .915 OPS)  

Ke’Bryan Hayes blasted his sixth homer and drew two walks. (.286 avg, .768 OPS) 

Daniel Arribas was 2-for-7 and scored twice. (.273 avg, .835 OPS)
