Pirates Minor League Report 6/4

AAA: Indianapolis/Toledo had their doubleheader postponed due to rain. 


AA: Binghamton defeated Altoona 3-0.

Tyler Eppler pitched seven innings, allowing only two runs, didn’t walk a batter and struckout five. (90 pitches; 68 strikes) (4.20 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, 6.0 K/9) 

Austin Meadows goes 1-for-3 with a triple. (.298 avg, .882 OPS) 

Reese McGuire was 1-for-3 with a double. (.256 avg, .703 OPS) 

Jose Osuna also went 1-for-3. (.244 avg, .716 OPS) 


High A: Bradenton defeated Lakeland 8-5.

Yeudy Garcia gives up two runs, but lasted just four innings, walked three and fanned six. (83 pitches; 48 strikes) (2.91 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, 10.7 K/9) 

Kevin Kramer collected three hits including his third home run of the season. (.296 avg, .758 OPS) 

Connor Joe had a two-run single. (.246 avg, .678 OPS) 

Taylor Gushue was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and scored twice. (.245 avg, .700 OPS) 

Cole Tucker also goes 2-for-5 with two runs scored. (.278 avg, .775 OPS) 


Low A: Augusta defeated West Virginia 3-1. 

Bret Helton pitches 6.2 innings, as he allowed three runs (two earned), walking two and striking out two. (84 pitches; 54 strikes) (3.93 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 6.2 K/9) 

Ke’Bryan Hayes went 4-for-4. (.287 avg, .758 OPS) 

Ryan Nagle goes 1-for-3 and drove in the Power’s only run of the game. (.262 avg, .661 OPS) 

Mitchell Tolman was 1-for-4 and scored the run. (.269 avg, .735 OPS)
