Pirates Minor League Report 6/1

AAA: Indianapolis defeated Rochester 2-0.

Tyler Glasnow threw five no-hit innings, walked four and had three strikeouts. (74 pitches; 38 strikes) (2.07 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, 10.6 K/9)

Danny Ortiz goes 1-for-2 with a double and drove in a run. (.263 avg, .733 OPS)

Adam Frazier was 1-for-3 with an RBI double. (.302 avg, .752 OPS) 

Jason Rogers also went 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored. (.280 avg, .792 OPS) 


AA: Altoona defeated Akron 2-0.

Cody Dickson pitched five scoreless innings, issuing four walks and striking out three. (91 pitches; 45 strikes) (3.96 ERA, 1.68 WHIP, 5.4 K/9)

Eric Wood hit his fifth homer of the season. (.239 avg, .752 OPS) 

Austin Meadows went 1-for-4 with a triple. (.282 avg, .803 OPS)

Reese McGuire and Stetson Allie were both 1-for-4 with a double. (McGuire: .254 avg, .701 OPS) (Allie: .241 avg, .754 OPS) 


High A: Palm Beach defeated Bradenton 7-3.

Stephen Tarpley allowed five runs in four innings, walked one and struckout four. (80 pitches; 51 strikes) (5.87 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, 8.6 K/9)

Jerrick Suiter blasted his second home run of the year. (.261 avg, .648 OPS)

Jordan Luplow was 2-for-4 with an RBI. (.215 avg, .665 OPS) 

Pablo Reyes went 2-for-4 and scored a run. (.272 avg, .728 OPS) 

Cole Tucker goes 1-for-4 with a double and came around to score. (.264 avg, .742 OPS) 


Low A: West Virginia defeated Lakewood 19-7.

Logan Sendelbach pitches seven innings, allowing six runs (four earned), didn’t walk a batter and had seven strikeouts. (83 pitches; 61 strikes) (3.72 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 6.1 K/9) 

Tito Polo had four hits including two runs, a pair of doubles and a walk. (.318 avg, .939 OPS) 

Carlos Munoz went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and seven RBI’s. (.265 avg, .721 OPS)

Logan Hill also hit a three-run home run, his third of the year. (.181 avg, .564 OPS) 

Ke’Bryan Hayes goes 3-for-5 with an RBI double, a walked and scored three times. (.283 avg, .765 OPS)

Ryan Nagle was 2-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI’s and a run scored. (.261 avg, .665 OPS)
