Pirates Minor League Report 5/22

AAA: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre defeated Indianapolis 2-0. 

Tyler Glasnow allowed two runs in six innings, walked two and had nine strikeouts. (93 pitches; 58 strikes) (2.16 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 11.3 K/9) 

Alen Hanson went 1-for-4 with a double and a stolen base. (.269 avg, .666 OPS) 

Willy Garcia was also 1-for-4. (.254 avg, .669 OPS) 

Max Moroff goes 1-for-3. (.212 avg, .704 OPS) 


AA: Both games of the Altoona/Portland doubleheader was postponed due to rain. 


High A: Bradenton defeated Dunedin 8-2.

Trevor Williams tossed five scoreless innings, didn’t walk a batter and struckout four in his final rehab start. (62 pitches; 44 strikes) 

Kevin Kramer had two hits and drove in three runs. (.292 avg, .721 OPS) 

Pablo Reyes collected three hits with an RBI, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored. (.241 avg, .664 OPS) 

Kevin Newman went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and came around to score. (.357 avg, .871 OPS) 

Connor Joe was also 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and scored a run. (.235 avg, .660 OPS)


Low A

Game 1: West Virginia defeated Hickory 3-2. 

Logan Sendelbach threw 4.2 innings, as he gave up one run, walked three and had three strikeouts. (61 pitches; 33 strikes) (3.18 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 5.0 K/9) 

Ryan Nagle went 2-for-3 with a walk and  a run scored. (.240 avg, .640 OPS) 

Carlos Munoz goes 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. (.254 avg, .714 OPS) 

Tito Polo was 1-for-4 and also had a double.


Game 2: Hickory defeated West Virginia 9-2.

Billy Roth surrendered six runs (five earned) in three innings, issued four walks and struckout three. (72 pitches; 32 strikes) (8.10 ERA, 2.40 ERA, 6.3 K/9) 

Cole Tucker had three hits and scored a run. (.250 avg, .707 OPS) 

Daniel Arribas hit his fifth homer of the season. (.265 avg, .874 OPS) 

Tito Polo goes 1-for-4. (.276 avg, .780 OPS)
