Pirates Minor League Report 5/17

AAA: Indianapolis defeated Columbus 4-1. 

Tyler Glasnow allowed just one run in six innings, walked two and struckout five. (84 pitches; 51 strikes) (2.05 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 11.0 K/9) 

Adam Frazier was 3-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases. (.306 avg, .766 OPS) 

Josh Bell went 2-for-2 with a triple, two walks and scored a run. (.276 avg, .805 OPS)

Jason Rogers also had two hits including an RBI triple. (.299 avg, .873 OPS) 

 

AA: Altoona defeated Binghamton 5-1. 

Clay Holmes pitched six innings, giving up only one run, didn’t walk a batter and had six strikeouts. (87 pitches; 58 strikes) (5.22 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, 5.7 K/9) 

Reese McGuire went 2-for-4 and had three RBI’s. (.256 avg, .673 OPS) 

Harold Ramirez was 1-for-3 with a pair of walks, a stolen base and scored twice. (.288 avg, .734 OPS) 

Austin Meadows goes 1-for-4 with an RBI and also had two runs scored. (.185 avg, .496 OPS) 

 

High A: Bradenton/Brevard County was postponed due to rain. 

 

Low A: Delmarva defeated West Virginia 6-3. 

Jonathan Brubaker threw six innings, allowing four runs (three earned), issuing two walks and striking out five. (87 pitches; 60 strikes) (3.98 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 10.0 K/9) 

Alfredo Reyes was 2-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk, a stolen base and came around to score. (.228 avg, .659 OPS) 

Tito Polo also collected two hits. (.273 avg, .773 OPS) 

Carlos Munoz went 1-for-3 and drew a free pass. (.239 avg, .683 OPS) 

Ke’Bryan Hayes walked and scored a run. (.296 avg, .810 OPS)
