By Jason Shetler

The Pirates have announced that Cole Figueroa has been recalled from AAA Indianapolis. Kyle Lobstein is headed to Indy as the corresponding move.

Figueroa made the Opening Day roster as the final reserve player. He appeared in eight games with the Pirates, mainly as a pinch-hitter, and was optioned to AAA in late April. Figueroa batted .340 during his 13 games with Indianapolis.

Lobstein was also placed on the Pirates Opening Day roster. The 26-year-old lefty posted a 4.79 ERA along with a 1.40 WHIP in 20.2 innings pitched out of the bullpen. Lobstein had actually performed very well in high leverage situations, as he held opposing batters to an on base percentage of .227.
