Pirates Minor League Report 5/6

AAA: Louisville defeated Indianapolis 6-1 in 12 innings. 

Chad Kuhl gives up just one run in six innings, walked one and struckout four. (78 pitches; 53 strikes) (1.35 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, 7.2 K/9) 

Jake Stallings had the only Indians run with an RBI double. (.207 avg, .505 OPS)

Danny Ortiz collected two hits including a double and a run scored. (.262 avg, .684 OPS) 

Cole Figueroa was 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base. (.333 avg, .868 OPS) 

Willy Garcia went 2-for-5. (.242 avg, .675 OPS) 

Alen Hanson goes 1-for-5 with a double. (.298 avg, .735 OPS) 


AA: Altoona/Richmond was postponed due to rain. 


High A: Charlotte defeated Bradenton 3-2. 

Yeudy Garcia pitched four innings, allowing one run, didn’t walk a batter and fanned six. (79 pitches; 57 strikes) (3.47 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, 10.9 K/9) 

Kevin Kramer hit his second home run of the year. (.267 avg, .697 OPS) 

Kevin Newman went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and scored a run. (.359 avg, .847 OPS) 

Jerrick Suiter goes 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and also stole a base. (.247 avg, .594 OPS) 

Elvis Escobar was 1-for-4 and had a double. (.256 avg, .669 OPS) 


Low A: Charleston defeated West Virginia 4-3. 

Jonathan Brubaker pitches six innings, as he allowed four runs, walked three and had four strikeouts. (89 pitches; 50 strikes) (3.27 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 10.1 K/9)

Christian Kelley had a pair of hits and drove in a run. (.206 avg, .537 OPS) 

Tito Polo goes 2-for-4 with a free pass and came around to score. (.282 avg, .817 OPS) 

Ty Moore was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored. (.193 avg, .511 OPS) 

Ke’Bryan Hayes went 1-for-4 with an RBI. (.337 avg, .862 OPS)
