On Friday, MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo came out with his all-teen prospect team, consisting of teenage prospects position by position. Mayo listed Ke’Bryan Hayes as his third baseman.
Hayes was the Bucs first round compensation pick in last year’s MLB Draft. The son of Charlie Hayes was ranked as the Pirates #7 prospect according to MLB Pipeline. Hayes is off to a strong start in his first full season with the West Virginia Power, as he’s hitting .337, which is currently seventh best in the South Atlantic League, while his OPS is at .862.
