AAA: Indianapolis had a scheduled day off.

 

AA: Erie defeated Altoona 5-2. 

Clay Holmes allowed four runs (two earned) in 4.2 innings, walked three and had three strikeouts. (92 pitches; 57 strikes) (5.72 ERA, 1.66 WHIP, 5.1 K/9) 

Jin-De Jhang had two hits including his first home run of the season. (.282 avg, .727 OPS) 

Erich Weiss goes 2-for-4 and hit his third homer of the year. (.291 avg, .884 OPS) 

Anderson Feliz also went 2-for-4. (.277 avg, .707 OPS) 

Austin Meadows was 1-for-4. (.184 avg, .449 OPS) 

 

High A: Bradenton defeated Charlotte 4-3 in 10 innings. 

Colten Brewer pitched just 2.2 innings, as he gave up three runs (two earned), issuing two walks and striking out three. (61 pitches; 38 strikes) (3.90 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, 8.3 K/9) 

Jordan Luplow collected a pair of hits, one of which was his first long ball of 2016. (.198 avg, .641 OPS) 

Jerrick Suiter was 2-for-4. (.244 avg, .574 OPS) 

Kevin Newman went 2-for-5 and drove in a run. (.348 avg, .825 OPS) 

Kevin Kramer also goes 2-for-5 and came around to score. (.260 avg, .660 OPS) 

Pablo Reyes walked three times and scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the 10th. (.244 avg, .720 OPS) 

 

Low A: Charleston defeated West Virginia 8-3. 

Logan Sendelbach surrendered seven runs in only 2.1 innings of work, walked three and had one strikeout. (65 pitches; 33 strikes) (3.34 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 4.6 K/9) 

Tito Polo led off the game with a home run, his third of the year. (.272 avg, .801 OPS) 

Ke’Bryan Hayes also blasted his third homer of the season. (.341 avg, .879 OPS) 

Ryan Nagle went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored. (.264 avg, .692 OPS)
