Pirates Minor League Report 5/2

AAA: Durham defeated Indianapolis 9-2.

Steven Brault pitched four innings, allowing four runs, walked one and struckout five. (88 pitches; 62 strikes) (3.04 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, 11.6 K/9) 

Pedro Florimon collected two hits. (.353 avg, .863 OPS) 

Gift Ngoepe was 1-for-4 and drove in a run. (.214 avg, .547 OPS) 

Adam Frazier went 1-for-4 with a double. (.306 avg, .817 OPS) 

Jung-Ho Kang also goes 1-for-4. 


AA: Altoona defeated Erie 7-4 in 10 innings. 

Cody Dickson gave up four runs in five innings, surrendered six walks and didn’t strikeout a batter. (89 pitches; 46 strikes) (6.45 ERA, 2.01 WHIP, 4.1 K/9)

Barrett Barnes hit his first home run of the year. (.238 avg, .669 OPS) 

Eric Wood went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a walk and came around to score. (.232 avg, .719 OPS) 

Anderson Feliz was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and scored two runs. (.268 avg, .696 OPS) 


High A: Bradenton defeated St. Lucie 11-6. 

Austin Coley threw five innings, as he allowed three runs, walked one and fanned six. (90 pitches; 57 strikes) (5.40 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, 7.0 K/9) 

Kevin Kramer had two hits including a three-run homer, his first of the season. (.253 avg, .660 OPS) 

Pablo Reyes drove in three runs and also drew a walk. (.250 avg, .725 OPS) 

Chase Simpson was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI’s, a free pass and scored a run. (.255 avg, .737 OPS) 

Kevin Newman goes 2-for-5 along with two runs scored. (.345 avg, .826 OPS) 


Low A: West Virginia/Asheville was postponed due to rain.
