Pirates Minor League Report 4/20

AAA: Indianapolis defeated Toledo 7-2. 

Chad Kuhl goes five scoreless innings, walked one and had five strikeouts. (77 pitches; 50 strikes) (1.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 7.8 K/9)

Jared Hughes pitched a scoreless sixth inning in his first rehab outing.

Max Moroff had a bases clearing double and a walk (.148 avg, .675 OPS) 

Jason Rogers and Josh Bell each hit solo home runs. (Rogers: .351 avg, 1.022 OPS)   (Bell: .243 avg, .851 OPS)

Jake Stallings drove in a pair of runs. (.182 avg, .364 OPS) 

Alen Hanson went 2-for-4 with a run scored. (.353 avg, .842 OPS) 

Jung-Ho Kang was 0-for-4, but made two really nice plays defensively. 

 

AA: Harrisburg defeated Altoona 4-2.

Tyler Eppler allowed three runs in six innings of work, issued one free pass and struckout five. (91 pitches; 60 strikes) (3.00 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, 7.0 K/9) 

Jose Osuna hit his third homer of the season. (.261 avg, .835 OPS) 

Anderson Feliz went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and scored a run. (.323 avg, .852 OPS) 

Reese McGuire was 1-for-4 with an RBI single. (.300 avg, .866 OPS) 

Jonathan Schwind goes 1-for-3 and drew a walk. (.412 avg, 1.029 OPS) 

 

High A: Palm Beach defeated Bradenton 3-0. 

Yeudy Garcia pitches 5.1 innings, as he gave up two runs, walked four and fanned six. (86 pitches; 50 strikes) (4.85 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, 11.1 K/9) 

Kevin Newman was 2-for-3 with a walk. (.388 avg, .895 OPS) 

Jordan Luplow went 1-for-4 with a double. (.233 avg, .759 OPS) 

Connor Joe was also 1-for-4. (.170 avg, .469 OPS) 

Pablo Reyes goes 1-for-3. (.265 avg, .776 OPS) 

 

Low A: Kannapolis defeated West Virginia 1-0. 

Dario Agrazal tossed six shutout innings, walked one and struckout four. (62 pitches; 44 strikes) (2.81 ERA; 1.00 WHIP, 4.5 K/9) 

Alfredo Reyes had two hits including a double. (.263 avg, .732 OPS) 

Ke’Bryan Hayes went 1-for-4. (.400 avg, 1.027 OPS) 

Tyler Filliben goes 1-for-3. (.160 avg, .425 OPS) 

Tito Polo was 0-for-4, which snapped his ten game hit streak. (.320 avg, .858 OPS)
