Pirates Minor League Report 4/11

AAA: Indianapolis had a scheduled day off.


AA: Akron defeated Altoona 9-1.

Cody Dickson had control issues, walking seven batters in 3.1 innings. He allowed five runs (three earned) and struckout two. (76 pitches, 37 strikes) 

Eric Wood drove in the only Curve run with an RBI double.

Erich Weiss was 1-for-5 with a double. 

Reese McGuire and Stetson Allie each drew a pair of walks.


High A: Tampa defeated Bradenton 5-2.

Austin Coley pitches 4.2 innings, giving four runs, walking three and striking out four (80 pitches; 46 strikes) 

Taylor Gushue had two hits including his first homer of the season.

Connor Joe went 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk and scored a run.

Kevin Kramer goes 1-for-4. 


Low A: Greenville defeated West Virginia 2-0. 

Mitch Keller had a phenomenal debut for the Power, as he pitched five scoreless, didn’t walk a batter and struckout ten. (68 pitches; 49 strikes) 

Tito Polo was 1-for-3 and walked.

Christian Kelley also went 1-for-3.

Ryan Nagle goes 1-for-2 and drew a free pass. 

Ke’Bryan Hayes was 0-for-4.
