Pirates Minor League Report 4/10

Game 1: Columbus defeated Indianapolis 1-0. 

Tyler Glasnow threw five innings, giving up one run, walked three and fanned six (81 pitches; 43 strikes) 

Alen Hanson, Jason Rogers and Danny Ortiz were all 1-for-3.

Josh Bell went 1-for-2 with a walk. 


Game 2: Indianapolis defeated Columbus 4-0.

Trevor Williams left the game in the first inning with shoulder discomfort. 

Jason Rogers hit a two-run homer. 

Josh Bell drove in a pair of runs, walked and came around to score.

Max Moroff was 1-for-2 with a walk and scored a run.


AA: Altoona defeated Harrisburg 6-3.

Tyler Eppler goes six innings, as he allowed two runs, walked a pair and struckout three. (64 pitches; 43 strikes)

Eric Wood went 3-for-4 with a triple and scored twice.

Jose Osuna had two hits including his first home run of the year. 

Harold Ramirez was 1-for-5 with an RBI double.

Reese McGuire went 1-for-3 with a free pass and drove in a run. 


High A: Bradenton defeated Fort Myers 4-3 in 10 innings.

Yeudy Garcia pitched 4.2 innings, allowing a pair of runs, walking three and striking out four. (83 pitches; 44 strikes)

Kevin Kramer was 2-for-4 with an RBI double.

Michael Suchy also went 2-for-4. 

Kevin Newman had two hits with a double and scored two runs.

Chase Simpson goes 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk and came around to score twice.

Connor Joe delivered  a game-winning RBI single in the tenth.


Low A: West Virginia defeated Greensboro 3-1.

Dario Agrazal pitches five shutout innings along with one walk and one strikeout.

Ty Moore collected a pair of hits, which included a two-run double.

Mitchell Tolman drove in a run and walked.

Tyler Filliben went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. 

Casey Hughston and Carlos Munoz were both 1-for-4 and scored a run.
