Pirates Minor League Report 4/8

AAA: Indianapolis/Columbus game was postponed again due to rain. 

 

AA: Harrisburg defeated Altoona 10-4.

Clay Holmes had a rough night going four innings, allowing six runs, walked five and struckout just one. (73 pitches; 38 strikes) 

Anderson Feliz was 3-for-4 with a double and drove in a run. 

Stetson Allie goes 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer. 

Jin-De Jhang had a pair of doubles and scored a run.

Jonathan Schwind went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

 

High A: Fort Myers defeated Bradenton 3-2.

Brandon Waddell tossed five scoreless, didn’t walk a batter and struckout four. (54 pitches; 39 strikes) 

Elvis Escobar connected on a two-run homer.

Jerrick Suiter was 2-for-4. 

Kevin Kramer went 1-for-4 with a triple.

Kevin Newman also goes 1-for-4. 

 

Low A: West Virginia defeated Greensboro 5-1 in 12 innings.

Logan Sendelbach pitched five perfect innings while striking out four.

Tito Polo delivered a bases clearing double in the 12th.

Mitchell Tolman had two doubles, an RBI and walked.

Ryan Nagle went 2-for-5 with a double.

Ke’Bryan Hayes was 2-for-4 and drew a free pass.

Casey Hughston hit his first home run of the season.
