The West Virginia Power recorded 87 wins last season, which is the most they’ve had since their affiliation with the Pirates in 2009. Manager Brian Esposito enters his second year with the Power.

Pitching: Anchoring the Power staff in 2016 will be Mitch Keller, the Pirates second round draft pick two years ago. Rounding out the rotation is Jonathan Brubaker, Seth McGarry, Dario Agrazal and Bret Helton.

Infield: Pirates #7 prospect Ke’Bryan Hayes is going to man third base this season. Across the diamond will be first baseman Carlos Munoz, who has been an on base machine the past few seasons. The middle infielders are shortstop Tyler Filliben and second baseman Mitchell Tolman. Catching for the Power this year is Christian Kelley.

Outfield: Returning to the Power this year is Tito Polo, who led all Pirates minor leaguers in stolen bases in 2015. The other outfielders joining him will be Casey Hughston, Ryan Nagle and Ty Moore.
