Pirates Spring Training Report 3/18

The Pirates took on the Philadelphia Phillies today in a classic Spring Training slugfest in Clearwater with the Pirates being on the losing end of a 15-12 score.

Kyle Lobstein tossed three scoreless innings. 

Wilfredo Boscan allowed eight runs, all of which came in the fourth inning.

Trey Haley gave up six runs in the fifth.

Jorge Rondon pitched two shutout frames. 

Matt Joyce was 2-for-3 with a home run and an RBI double.

Pedro Florimon connected on a two-run homer. 

Jose Osuna went 2-for-2 including a three-run blast.

Antoan Richardson drove in a pair of runs with a triple.

Jake Stallings had an RBI double.

The Pirates return to Bradenton to square off against the Minnesota Twins tomorrow at 1:05 ET.
