ESPN’s Buster Olney came out with his list of the Top 10 left fielders in all of baseball, and has Starling Marte ranked #1.

Marte had a superb year overall in 2015, which saw him post a .780 OPS while hitting a career best 19 homers. The speed element came into play once again, as he stole 30 bases. Marte’s main calling card is his defense, and he was stellar, putting up a .995 fielding percentage along with 24 Defensive Runs Saved, which were by far tops in the NL this past season. He was able to capture the NL Gold Glove Award for left fielders, the first Pirate to do so since Barry Bonds in 1992.
