Pirates Sign Curtis Partch

The Pirates have signed pitcher Curtis Partch to a minor league deal, this according to John Dreker of Pirates Prospects. 

Partch was selected in the 26th round by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2007 MLB Draft. The 28-year-old right-hander spent most of 2015 with the San Francisco Giants AAA club Sacramento where he put up a 3.53 ERA along with a 1.35 WHIP and a career best K/9 of 11.5 in 63.2 innings. Partch also pitched seven scoreless innings for the Giants. His average fastball velocity is very impressive at 95.8 mph.
