Andrew McCutchen Captures Fourth Consecutive Silver Slugger

Andrew McCutchen has been named the 2015 Silver Slugger award winner for National League center fielders. 

McCutchen is coming off yet another stellar year offensively. In 157 games, he posted a .401 on base percentage with 23 home runs and 96 RBI, which were most among NL center fielders. McCutchen also put up a .488 slugging percentage along with an OPS+ of 145. He was almost a six-win player on offense, posting a 5.8 oWAR. McCutchen now becomes the only Pirates player in franchise history to win the Silver Slugger award on four occasions.
