Starling Marte has been named the 2015 Rawlings Gold Glove winner for National League left fielders.
Marte had himself a phenomenal season defensively, as he put up a .995 fielding percentage and led all NL left fielders with 15 outfield assists. His defensive metrics were strong as well, posting a 2.0 dWAR, a 7.9 UZR and had 24 Defensive Runs Saved. Marte becomes the first Pirates left fielder to capture the Gold Glove award since Barry Bonds in 1992.
