Baseball America has released its Top 20 prospects list for the Eastern League. Tyler Glasnow and Josh Bell to no surprise both made the list.
Glasnow’s ranking was at #4. The Pirates top prospect made 12 starts for the Altoona Curve where he posted a 2.43 ERA along with a 0.95 WHIP and a K/9 of 11.7. Glasnow spent the final month pitching with the Indianapolis Indians.
Bell was placed #20 in the rankings. The switch-hitting first baseman had a .307 average with an OPS of .803 in 96 games with Altoona. Bell did have struggles defensively at first base with the Curve, as he committed 13 errors, which is likely the reason why his ranking wasn’t higher.
