White Sox Sign Jeremy Farrell

According to the Carolina League transactions page (via Minor League Scoop), Jeremy Farrell has signed with the Chicago White Sox on a minor league contract, after being shortly released by the Pirates. The son of Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell, was drafted by the Bucs in 2008. He spent five seasons in the Pirates organization, where he hit .260 and posted a .721 OPS in 402 games.
